Dare corpo al manifesto.
Costruire un manifesto sociale di corpi.
Il corpo come manifesto dell’arte.
 

(ITA) Un incontro di corpi che porta a un dialogo e a una riflessione su come i fondamenti dell’arte siano i fondamenti della vita; di come l’esigenza che ci muove ogni giorno, sia una manifestazione dell’arte della vita. Il corpo come opera d’arte e le sue azioni come manifesti di quest’opera. L’ispirazione per questo progetto viene dal lavoro dell’artista visivo Julian Rosefeldt, MANIFESTO.
Elena Copelli: “M sono appassionata a questo progetto, ed ho immediatamente pensato a quanto sarebbe stato fecondo trasferire questa indagine dall’immagine al corpo, dalla bidimensionalità alla quadrimensionalità. Ho individuato tre manifesti, che permettono a livello fisico di tentare una rappresentazione visiva del concetto teorico espresso dell’artista che ha redatto il manifesto. Questi tre manifesti sono: Il Manifesto del Futurismo di Marinetti (1909), Il Manifesto del Surrealismo di Breton (1924),  Il No Manifesto di Yvonne Rainer (1965)."
Per il Manifesto del Futurismo, il workshop è proposto a adolescenti, con o senza esperienza di danza. Per il No Manifesto è tenuto un workshop per adulti, a cui sarà solamente richiesta voglia di mettersi in gioco e sperimentare con il proprio corpo. Da questi due percorsi formativi nasceranno due brevi performance che, insieme alla produzione della compagnia sul Manifesto del Surrealismo, saranno presentati al pubblico.

To give shape to a Manifesto.
Building a social Manifesto of bodies.
The body as a Manifesto of art.

(ENG) A meeting of bodies that leads to a dialogue and a reflection on how the foundations of art are the foundations of life; of how the need that moves us every day is a manifestation of the art of life. The body as a work of art and its actions as manifestos of this work.The inspiration for this project comes from the work of visual artist Julian Rosefeldt, MANIFESTO.
Elena Copelli: “I am passionate about this art project, and I immediately thought about how fruitful it would be to transfer this investigation from the image to the body, from two-dimensionality to four-dimensionality. I have identified three Manifesto, which allow on a physical level to attempt a visual representation of the theoretical concept expressed by the artist who wrote the Manifesto. These three Manifestos are: The Manifesto of Futurism by Marinetti (1909), The Manifesto of Surrealism by Breton (1924),  The No Manifesto by Yvonne Rainer (1965).”
For the Futurism Manifesto, the workshop is proposed to teenagers, with or without dance experience. For the No Manifesto, a workshop will be held for adults, who will only be asked to get involved and experiment with their own body. From these two training courses, two short performances will arise which, together with the company's production on the Surrealism Manifesto, will be presented to the public.
